Get Your Newsletter Listed in Directories
New to newsletters or looking to spread the word beyond your current network? Check out these newsletter directories and submit yours to be listed.
This week your Opt In Challenge is to look for opportunities to cross-promote with other newsletters in the same niche. One way to do that is to submit your newsletter to directories like this new one, Cross Promote from Alex, author of A Byte of Coding newsletter, who will help to connect you with other newsletters in your niche.

List Your Newsletter On Webletters
This new newsletter directory came onto my radar recently. It’s pretty easy to suggest newsletters (including your own) that should be included. Your challenge this week is to take the two minutes it takes to submit yours to be listed (free).
You can also spend another half hour on the directories I mentioned here if you haven’t already. They’ll help people find you, so it’s a win-win.

Last week, a friend posed a question about a topic I try to follow: ungated marketing content vs publisher paywalls. While I had an initial response (they’re different beasts to tackle), I’ve curated 6 articles concerning gating in this newsletter. I used the publication site search function to revisit those articles (and my commentary) to share one article with him.
I asked Seth to create a GIF showing how that works in case you want try it in your own newsletter. Or maybe you want to test it out to see what I’ve published in the past about topics like deliverability, Gmail clipping, and getting listed in newsletter directories.
Curated users who have publication sites enabled (issues can be published to the Curated.co domain or a custom domain) can show archives and allow search by going to Settings > Hosting, Subscriptions, and Publishing > Web.
